Obviously the fork decals are all wrong (and I have some proper ones coming) however what is interesting is the 'all tubes Tange 4130' decal is GOLD.Īlso note the decals on the rear triangle which say 'Factory Model KZ-1'.ĭoes anybody have any clue to what these decals mean - have you seen them before? I think it must have been painted BITD as the other stickers on there are some I can't recall seeing.
It came with the Tange headset, SunTour seat clamp and SunTour VX 175mm cranks but does not seem to have ever been built with wheels. Looks like it was originally chrome as the black paint is quite thick and the welds are not so visible through the paint. I just scored this KZ1 frame and fork from the ever accomodating good guy Darren Chan.
